Colin is a Founding Partner of This Partners and brings a depth of knowledge gained from 40 years of diverse business experience, including over 20 years within the outsourcing industry. Colin’s early career was in HR management, which included nearly 10 years with DHL International as HR Director and several years as an independent consultant.
In the 1990s and through to 2003, Colin worked for the Service Provider community, initially providing HR and TUPE advice, and then moving into bid management, commercial management and programme director roles. Working with HP, IBM and Perot Systems, he delivered strategic business benefits for a wide range of clients. Colin’s adaptability, persistence and pragmatic approach, coupled with his abilities for innovation, problem solving and programme management, enabled him to deliver solutions that met the requirements, and high expectations, of clients and service providers alike. Before establishing This Partners, Colin worked as a sourcing advisor with TPI for over 6 years.
Colin’s highly adaptable leadership style, consultative approach and strategic perspective have delivered consistently effective results for a diverse client base. His numerous assignments have ranged from tightly targeted strategy assessments for privately owned businesses up to global scope, multi-billion dollar contract transaction and transition support for FTSE top 30 organisations.
Outside of work, Colin enjoys wildlife, touring holidays and camping. He is also keen on cycling and real ale – but not at the same time!
