This Partners worked closely with senior stakeholders and technical staff alike to develop and document a clear Vision, Strategy and Objectives as part of creating the ‘Data Centre Strategy’, which was signed off by the CIO and his leadership team. These outputs, in conjunction with a ‘Vendor Information Pack’ stimulated both clear internal communications and a compelling message for the service provider community in readiness for a first generation outsource. A professional, structured market engagement phase followed with six of the world’s largest IT infrastructure providers – all of whom were motivated and suitably engaged.

Our collaborative approach and ‘sleeves rolled up’ principles enabled the selected service provider to present a detailed solution, including transformation plan, pricing and heads of terms within 6 weeks of the initial market engagement, providing our client with the ability to move rapidly towards contractual negotiations.
